Preserving National Park stories before they’re lost

More than 433 locations make up the National Parks system, but we’re witnessing a widespread effort to remove, censor, and weaken access to history, science, and Indigenous Knowledge.

America 433+ is a broad coalition to help preserve and elevate the full American story, building public awareness, engagement, and stewardship around protecting our public lands for future generations.

Our 433+ national parks are public land for all people and should reflect the fullness and complexity of the American experience – not a narrowed, partison, or distorted version of it.

Join the America 433+ rangers to share, document, and preserve what’s being taken away.

Partner Stories

Park rangers, historians, scientists, educators, and public servants everywhere experience censorship and political interference targeting public history and science. When our stories are suppressed, the public loses access to understand our power, injustice, and shared responsibility.

That’s where you come in by helping the America 433+ campaign organize and build a national network to not just document these attacks, but to keep our history and our stories alive, to defend endangered knowledge, and to engage the public around the materials censored or being targeted for censorship.

About

America 433+ is a national public education campaign and civic call to action responding to the growing attack, erasure, and distortion of our shared American story.

The America 433+ campaign counteracts the intentional hollowing out of our nation’s park infrastructure and censorship – including the removal, suppression, or alteration of vital public records and materials.
